4 Steps to Nominate

  1. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

    A call for nominations is announced one month before the next event.

  2. SUBMIT NOMINATION FORM

    Nomination forms must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the next event.

  3. NOMINATION VETTING

    Nominees will be vetted by the Leadership Team and all eligible charities will be included in the next draw.

  4. PRESENTATION

    The nominating Member or charity representative will present the merits of their nominated charity if drawn at the event.

Nominator Responsibility

It is important to remember that charities must serve Toronto West, be Canadian, registered, and able to issue tax receipts to donating Members. Please note that if a Member heads or is employed by a local charity, another Member must nominate and present, or find a charity representative to present, the charity on their behalf. Nominated charities must commit to present at the following meeting to explain how the donation will be used.

If the nominating Member is not in attendance at the meeting, and therefore unable the present the merits of the charity, another charity will be selected for presentation. The nominating member must act in accordance with the spirit of the 100 Women Who Care philosophy, have attended a prior meeting, and be in compliance with their one year membership commitment.

The nomination process starts fresh for each meeting

Please feel free to resubmit a charity for consideration if they have not been gifted a donation from 100 Women Toronto West within the past three years. Charities that have received a donation are ineligible for nomination three years following receipt of their donation.

Please submit this form at least two weeks prior to the next event. Once our Leadership Team verifies eligibility, it will be added to our list of pre-qualified charities for presentation and funding consideration.

Please note that only Members of 100 Women Who Care Toronto West are able to submit nominations. The nominating member or the charity representative may present at the meeting.
